Ken was a 1959 graduate of RFHS, where he lettered in football, basketball, and track. While Ken was a great all-around athlete it was the sport of basketball where he really made his mark. Ken earned All-Conference and All-State recognition as he helped lead the Rockets to a 2nd place finish in the 1958 State Tournament. Upon graduation Ken was the leading scorer in RFHS history with 1,620 points.

Ken went on to the University of Wisconsin where he was a 3-Time MVP in basketball for the Badgers. Ken then had an opportunity to play in the NBA but instead chose the business world where he is tremendously successful in California. Ken still remains tired to his alma mater of RFHS and has established a scholarship fund in his name given annually to student-athletes continuing in college.
